The Great Rescue | Easter

Jesus taught that our hearts resemble various types of soil, each determining how we receive and nurture His message. Some hearts, like hardened paths, reject truth, while others, akin to rocky soil, may initially accept but lack depth to endure hardships. Furthermore, thorns symbolize the worries and distractions of life that can choke spiritual growth. Yet, the good soil represents those who hear the word, understand it, and allow it to flourish, producing much fruit. As we study this parable, what is the condition of your heart?

Hearts of Stone (pt5) | Repentance

In the Book of Ezekiel, God offers a profound promise: He will replace our hardened hearts with soft hearts that are attuned to His voice. This spiritual heart surgery, however, begins with repentance. Repentance is not merely an act of feeling sorry for our wrongdoings; it is a deliberate turning away from our past and towards the grace of God. When we come before Him in humility, acknowledging our failures, we open ourselves to His healing touch.

God warns us because He loves us deeply. When we can genuinely embrace the right disposition towards God’s warnings found in Scripture and demonstrated throughout history, it will position our hearts to be soft and receptive to His guiding hand in our lives. Therefore, it is essential that we encourage one another to persevere through life's many challenges and support each other in our spiritual journeys.
