We are not called to be like a specific people group (like Jew or Gentile as the Church of Ephesus was facing), but rather, we are to be like Jesus.  To avoid division, we should focus on areas that bring us unity like knowing the love of God, having relationship with Jesus, and being empowered by the Holy Spirit.
