To truly become a great disciple, one must start by being faithful with the things they have been entrusted with. This journey requires embracing uncertainties, stepping out of comfort zones, and persevering through challenges. Playing it safe doesn't lead to blessings or advancement, as Jesus doesn't favor those who shy away from taking steps of faith towards growth and transformation.

In this Father’s Day message, Pastor Jim Moore share the keys to successful fatherhood.  He shares about the importance of spending time with each child, disciplining them, and becoming a spiritual leader in the home. Fathers (and parents in general) should lead by example, understanding that their children are influenced by their words and actions, and should strive to guide them in the right direction by embodying the values they wish to impart.

When questioned about the greatest commandment, Jesus united love for God and others as the core of religious duty, mirroring the essence of the 10 commandments. We do not have to complicate God’s commands, as Jesus sets the record straight by proclaiming the greatest commandment is encompassed by the principle of love. So, will you say "Yes" and obey the greatest person and commandment? The choice is yours.

Jesus calls us to relinquish everything to fully embrace the abundant life He offers in His kingdom. It's a summons to align our desires, actions, and aspirations with His divine will, setting aside our personal ambitions for the greater purpose of glorifying Him. By surrendering our yearning for recognition and earthly treasures, we open ourselves to the richness of His grace and the profound joy found in serving Him wholeheartedly.

In a world filled with challenges and uncertainties, finding the strength to stand firm can be a daunting task. The Bible emphasizes the importance of unwavering faith and perseverance. Through compelling examples and teachings, it encourages us to anchor ourselves to God's love, hope, truth, will and faithfulness.  When properly anchored, we'll be best positioned to navigate life's fiercest storms with faith, resilience, and steadfastness.

On Pentecost Sunday, the promise of the Holy Spirit was fulfilled, marking a significant moment in humanity's spiritual journey. This liturgical celebration  symbolizes a fresh start, offering empowerment from God to navigate the challenges of our imperfect world with renewed strength and purpose in community.

In our journey with Jesus, staying connected to Him is vital, especially when facing life's storms. This means intentionally seeking His presence every day, regardless of the circumstances. The practice of anchoring ourselves to Jesus (a.k.a. abiding) is crucial for navigating the challenges of this world.

Are you seeking a firm foundation for your life? The importance of anchoring oneself to Jesus and building a life on solid ground is emphasized in this message. Life can be tough, and storms will come. You will face challenges, and although life, family, the economy, and the world seem uncertain, know that God is not uncertain.

Jesus is a healer. It's important to acknowledge and address unhealed trauma and pain in order to fully embrace God's purpose for our lives. By seeking healing and restoration, we can free ourselves from the burdens that hold us back and move forward in faith towards the fulfilling life that God has intended for us.

We have the power to choose our response to struggles, regardless of the circumstances. Learning to win with the hand we've been dealt involves knowing how to play the wild card, which is choice. Despite not being able to choose our chemistry or control our circumstances, we always have the choice of how to respond. Hopelessness suggests that everything happens to you, but we still have the power of choice: to get help, pray, praise, allow God to guide us, and thank Him for working all things for His good.
