The Greatest Summer Ever (pt4) | Fruitfulness

Greatness in the kingdom of God is different from that in our culture, which values wealth and possessions, while the kingdom measures greatness by fruitfulness and faithfulness. Greatness in the kingdom requires responding to God's unconditional love with obedience to love others, resulting in becoming conduits of Jesus' love for the world, transforming into people who love as Jesus does.

To truly become a great disciple, one must start by being faithful with the things they have been entrusted with. This journey requires embracing uncertainties, stepping out of comfort zones, and persevering through challenges. Playing it safe doesn't lead to blessings or advancement, as Jesus doesn't favor those who shy away from taking steps of faith towards growth and transformation.

We do not have to complicate God’s commands, as Jesus sets the record straight by proclaiming the greatest commandment is encompassed by the principle of love. So, will you say "Yes" and obey the greatest person and commandment? The choice is yours.

Jesus calls us to relinquish everything to fully embrace the abundant life He offers in His kingdom. It's a summons to align our desires, actions, and aspirations with His divine will, setting aside our personal ambitions for the greater purpose of glorifying Him. By surrendering our yearning for recognition and earthly treasures, we open ourselves to the richness of His grace and the profound joy found in serving Him wholeheartedly.
